The Mełno (German Melnosee , older also Meldensee ) is located in the municipality of Gruta in the powiat Grudziądzki in the Polish Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship .
history
The lake was named after the town of the same name in the Oberland . Here, on September 27, 1422, the peace of Lake Melno was concluded. It is fed by a variety of sources and, according to a study in 2005, was rated 3.
