The Med Campus IV. Location of the Kepler University Hospital (KUK) in Linz was run as the State Women's and Children's Hospital Linz until 2016 . The hospital is located in the Neustadtviertel .

history

The State Women's and Children's Clinic Linz (LFKK Linz), managed as the Med Campus IV. Location of the Kepler University Clinic since 2015/2016, was a hospital of the State of Upper Austria (spag) in the Kaplanhof district of Linz (Spitalsviertel). It has been located at the shared location on Krankenhausstrasse since 2006, where previously only the state children's clinic was housed. The state women's clinic was at its own location on Lederergasse . In 2010, 143 doctors were employed at the clinic, with a total of 1076 employees. With almost 3,500 births per year, the LFKK was Austria's largest maternity hospital. In addition, further operations were carried out in the department (2010: 5,781 operations).

On December 31, 2015, the LFKK became part of the Kepler University Hospital.
