Medal "For excellent propaganda achievements"

The medal "For excellent propaganda achievements" was an award of the Free German Youth (FDJ) of the German Democratic Republic (GDR), which was donated in 1973 in one stage. One of the first awards went to the Minister for State Security Erich Mielke .

The silver medal is on their Avers -center to the right-looking head portraits of Karl Marx , Friedrich Engels and Lenin , by the blue inscription FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICES propaganda are enclosed. The reverse of the medal shows the symbol of the FDJ and that of the pioneer organization Ernst Thälmann . The medal was worn on a blue lacquered rectangular clasp on the upper left chest of the borrower. The interim clasp was of the same quality, but shows the three heads of the obverse of the medal in the middle, which are flanked on both sides by two vertical median strips.
