Medal Lenin contingent of the FDJ.

The medal Leninaufgebot of the FDJ was an award of the Free German Youth (FDJ) of the German Democratic Republic (GDR), which on the occasion of the 100th birthday of Lenin and the 25th anniversary of the liberation from fascism on October 14, 1969 in one stage and 1970 was awarded to the FDJler of the festival contingent. The Lenin contingent itself lasted from October 1969 to the summer of 1970.

Appearance and wearing style

The silver medal shows on its obverse in the center the portrait of Lenin looking to the left as well as the inscription of the centenary of his birth year 1870–1970 . The medal was worn on a blue enameled silver-framed clasp with the silver symbols of the FDJ and the young pioneer organization .
