The medal for entering Paris was a Russian award. It was built by Czar Alexander I. donated.

This medal of merit was issued from March 1826 to May 1832.

Order decoration

The silver decoration of the order was a medal that showed the eye of God on one side above the portrait of the tsar looking to the right. The other side of the decoration with a laurel wreath on the edge had the motto of the order "For the capture of Paris March 19, 1814" in the middle . All inscriptions in Cyrillic script.

The band was a union of the St. Andreas and St. Georg bands. The award was created as a breast order.

An oversized medal adorns u. a. the tomb of the Russian major general Carl Friedrich von der Osten (1795–1878), in the Russian cemetery in Wiesbaden .
