Medal in honor of the completion of the collectivization of agriculture
The medal in honor of the completion of the collectivization of agriculture ( Romanian Medalia in cinstea incheierii colectivizarii agriculturii ) was a state award of the People's Republic of Romania . The foundation was established on May 12, 1962 by Decree No. 290 of the Council of State ( Consiliul de stat ). The statutes were published in the Romanian State Gazette ( Buletinul oficial ) No. 10. The medal, which was donated in one class, was awarded to people who were involved in the collectivization of Romanian agriculture and in the organizational and economic strengthening of the agricultural cooperatives of agricultural production.
Appearance and wearing style
The obverse of the gilded medal shows the left-turned torso of a peasant and a worker in front of the waving flag of Romania. The reverse of the medal shows an ear of wheat in the center and the year 1962 interrupted by this ear. The inscription reads: IN CINESTA INCHEIERII COLECTIVIZARII AGRICULTURII .
The medal was worn on the upper left chest of the borrower on a pentagonal clasp. The ribbon consists of red moire with a 1 mm wide hem and 4 mm wide green side stripes.
