The Medicur-Holding Gesellschaft mbH (short: Medicur- Holding ) is the parent company for the majority holdings of the Courier newspaper publishing and printing mbH

Current

In portfolio Medicur Holding are as at September 2015 significant investments in mass media in the areas of print media ( Courier ) and private television (24.5% at Sat.1 Austria ). In 2005 Medicur acquired 40% of the ORF broadcasting technology subsidiary, Österreichische Rundfunksender (ORS), under Monika Lindner as ORF General Director .

Former

Until November 2012 was the Medicur holding sole shareholder of Epamedia - European poster and outdoor media , the loss-making company then sold to the Slovak media holding JOJ Media House.

Shareholder

The owners of Medicur-Holding are 75% RH Finanzbeteiligungs GmbH of Raiffeisen-Holding Niederösterreich-Wien and 25% Raiffeisen-Invest-Gesellschaft mbH, thus indirectly Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich .

The Uniqa Insurance Group held 25% of the shares up to and including 2012, and then sold them to Raiffeisen-Holding Niederösterreich-Wien.
