Epamedia - Europäische Poster- und Außenmedien GmbH ( spelling : EPAMEDIA ) is Austria 's largest company in the field of outdoor advertising .
Companies
The outdoor media company Epamedia was founded in September 2006 through the merger of outdoor advertising Dr. Heinrich Schuster GmbH , Ankünder GmbH , Heimatwerbung GmbH and the Salzburg industrial team were founded. The Board continued until the end of 2012. Monika Lindner and Wolfgang Wagner together. Epamedia was 100 percent owned by Medicur-Holding , which at the time was owned by Raiffeisen-Holding Niederösterreich-Wien to 50%, Raiffeisen Zentralbank Wien to 25% and UNIQA Insurance to 25%. In November 2012, Epamedia was sold to the Slovak media holding JOJ Media House. From January to October 2013 Elena Královenská was solely responsible for business in Austria. Brigitte Ecker and Alexander Labschütz have been managing directors since October 2013.
Market position
Epamedia operates 23,000 poster sites and over 4,000 city lights across Austria (as of October 2014). The competitor Gewista markets 17,000 poster sites , 1,800 advertising pillars and over 8,000 City Light areas as well as 680 rolling boards (as of January 2011).
Epamedia International
With its subsidiaries and holdings in the CEE countries, Epamedia is also represented in Central and Eastern Europe. Epamedia International operates in Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
Public Space Advertising
As an outdoor advertising group, Epamedia operates advertising in public spaces. Public space advertising means opening up public space for advertising, taking into account increasing mobility and the constantly changing media behavior of society .
Products
Epamedia's outdoor advertising media are part of the public space. Epamedia's range includes the poster , the poster light (in standard sizes from 8 to 48 sheets), the city light , the tele light , the bigboard and scaffolding advertising .
