The Medical Monthly for Pharmacists (formerly also Medical Monthly. Journal for General Medicine and Therapy ) is a German medical journal with peer review .
Target groups and organization
The Medical monthly magazine for pharmacists aimed at medical and scientific interest pharmacist from the Offizin , but also hands-on researcher. The focus is on innovations in drug therapy, but established forms of therapy are also taken up and summarized.
The editorial team is responsible for the conception and editing of the content. A permanent scientific advisory board is used for content-related questions. The authors are freelance scientific journalists or experts from research and practice. The review of the manuscripts is carried out by the scientifically trained editors, the advisory board or external reviewers and experts.
construction
The medical monthly for pharmacists contains both overview and original articles. Reports from research, international literature and congresses are briefly presented and commented on by experts in the Refereed & Commented section. Each issue includes certified training that readers can attend online or by post. This procedure is recognized by the Federal Chamber of Pharmacists for pharmacists.
Depending on the issue and focus, the magazine is supplemented by further categories (e.g. nutrition forum, current pharmacology, questions from practice, interview, clinical pharmacy).
