The Medora Covered Bridge is a historic covered former road bridge in Jackson County , in the US state of Indiana , in the United States . The bridge, built in 1875 and designed in the Burr Truss design, is located about one kilometer southeast of Medora , off Indiana State Road 235 . It spans the East Fork White River .

The total length of the Medora Covered Bridge is 132.3 meters. The bridge has been closed to vehicle traffic since 1972, but remains open to pedestrians. The foundation is made of limestone, the walls are clad in wood and the roof is made of steel. The architect was Joseph J. Daniels .

Medora Bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places with the number 07000977 on September 19, 1977.
