The Meerchen is a brook in the district of Zwickau in western Saxony and in the district of Altenburg in eastern Thuringia . It arises in Dennheritz , flows through the urban area of Meerane and flows into the Pleiße in Gößnitz as a right tributary . The Köthlerbach and the Dittrichbach are right tributaries.
