Mehrbrüderbaum
With more brothers tree multi-stemmed trees are called, which predominantly former Hudeflächen can be found. In order to better protect tree plantings on these cattle pastures from browsing , several saplings were placed together in a planting hole and provided with a joint enclosure. In the course of time, the young plants developed into a multi-stemmed tree, a typical image for hudeland landscapes. Such multi-brother trees can be found in the Donoperteich nature reserve , a former Waldhude for Detmold and Hiddesen . There are other multi-stemmed specimens in the Liesetal near Hallenberg in the Hochsauerland .
