The Meikleour Cross is a market cross in the Scottish village of Meikleour in the Council Area Perth and Kinross . description

Meiklour's market cross stands on a small square in the center of the small town on its main road ( A984 ). The Meikleour Cross rests on an octagonal plinth , the edge of which is bordered by an iron railing that was added later. On the plinth, two round stone slabs rest in steps, which form the base for the market cross. This is a complex shaft that rises from a small pedestal with an engraved cross. The shaft of the Meikleour Cross is designed with crosses and stars. The building was built in 1698.
