Dannemoine is a French commune with 474 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Yonne department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region (before 2016 Bourgogne ) in eastern France . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Avallon and the canton Tonnerrois (until 2015 Tonnerre ).

Dannemoine is located about 33 kilometers east-northeast of Auxerre on the Canal de Bourgogne . The Armançon limits the municipality to the west. Dannemoine is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cheney in the north and northwest, Molosmes in the east, Épineuil in the south and southeast, Tonnerre in the south, Junay in the west and southwest and Vézinnes in the west.
