Quincerot is a French commune with 60 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Yonne department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region (before 2016 Bourgogne ) in eastern France . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Avallon and the canton Tonnerrois (until 2015 Cruzy-le-Châtel ).

Quincerot is about 56 kilometers east-northeast of Auxerre . In the local area, at the wash house, the Landion river rises , but after about 250 meters it seeps back into the ground. Quincerot is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Étourvy in the north and west, Villiers-le-Bois in the north and east, Arthonnay in the south and east and Trichey in the south and southwest.
