Iceland is located about 50 kilometers south-southeast of Auxerre in the Morvan Regional Nature Park . Iceland is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Vault-de-Lugny in the north, Avallon in the east and northeast, Saint-Germain-des-Champs in the east and southeast, Saint-André-en-Morvan in the south, Meandes in the southwest, Tharoiseau in the west as well Domecy-sur-le-Vault to the northwest.
