The Communauté de communes Avallon, Vézelay, Morvan is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Yonne department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region . It was founded on January 1, 2014 and comprises 48 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Avallon .

Historical development

The community association was created in 2014 through the merger of the predecessor organizations Communauté de communes de l'Avallonnais , Communauté de communes du Vézelien and Communauté de communes Morvan-Vauban . The name was initially Communauté de communes de l'Avallonnais, de Morvan-Vauban et du Vézelien , but was changed to the current name shortly afterwards.

With effect from 1 January 2017 the municipalities are Arcy-sur-Cure and Bois-d'Arcy by the Communauté de communes Entre Cure et Yonne and the municipality Merry-sur-Yonne of the Communauté de communes Forterre Val d'Yonne the joined local community association.
