The Communauté de communes de l'Aillantais is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It was founded on December 30, 1993 and currently comprises 13 municipalities. The administrative headquarters are located in Montholon .

Historical development

On January 1, 2016, the Communes nouvelles were formed

On January 1, 2017, the Commune nouvelle Montholon was formed from the former municipalities of Aillant-sur-Tholon , Champvallon , Villiers-sur-Tholon and Volgré .
