geography

Valravillon is located about 18 kilometers south-southeast of Auxerre on the eponymous river Ravillon . Valravillon is surrounded by the neighboring communities Champlay and Épineau-les-Voves in the north, Charmoy and Bassou in the northeast, Chichery and Branches in the east, Fleury-la-Vallée in the south and southeast, Poilly-sur-Tholon in the south, Montholon in the southwest as well Senan in the west.

The A6 autoroute runs through the municipality .

On January 1, 2016, Valravillon was formed as a Commune nouvelle from the municipalities of Guerchy , Laduz , Neuilly and Villemer .
