Ormes Town Hall

Les Ormes is a French municipality with 346 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Auxerre . The municipality is part of the canton of Charny ( Aillant-sur-Tholon until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called the Ormois .

Les Ormes is about 22 kilometers west-northwest of Auxerre . Les Ormes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Ferté-Loupière in the north and north-west, Chassy in the east, Le Val d'Ocre in the south and east and Sommecaise in the west.
