Sery is a French municipality with 91 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Region Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ) in the Yonne department . It is assigned to the canton of Joux-la-Ville (until 2015 Vermenton ) and the arrondissement of Auxerre .

geography

Sery is located 27 kilometers south-southeast of Auxerre on the Canal du Nivernais . The Yonne limits the municipality to the west. Sery is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Prégilbert in the north, Bessy-sur-Cure in the east, Mailly-la-Ville in the south and Trucy-sur-Yonne in the west.
