Mont-Saint-Sulpice is a French municipality with 795 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Yonne department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté ; it belongs to the arrondissement Auxerre and the canton Saint-Florentin (until 2015: canton Seignelay ). The inhabitants are called Montois .

geography

Mont-Saint-Sulpice is located about 17 kilometers north-northeast of Auxerre . The Armançon River limits the municipality to the north. Mont-Saint-Sulpice is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Brienon-sur-Armançon in the north, Saint-Florentin in the northeast, Vergigny in the east, Héry in the south and southeast, Hauterive in the south and southwest and Ormoy in the west.
