Fleury-la-Vallée is a French commune with 1,102 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Auxerre . The municipality belongs to the canton of Charny (until 2015: canton of Aillant-sur-Tholon ).

Fleury-la-Vallée is about eleven kilometers northwest of Auxerre . Fleury-la-Vallée is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Valravillon in the north and northwest, Branches in the east, Charbuy in the south and Poilly-sur-Tholon in the west and southwest.
