Saint-Sauveur-en-Puisaye is a French municipality with 885 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Yonne department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Auxerre and the canton of Vincelles (until 2015: canton of Saint-Sauveur-en-Puisaye ). The inhabitants are called San Salvatoriens .

Saint-Sauveur-en-Puisaye is about 42 kilometers west-southwest of Auxerre . Saint-Sauveur-en-Puisaye is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Mézilles in the north, Fontaines in the northeast, Saints-en-Puisaye in the east, Moutiers-en-Puisaye in the south and west and Ronchères in the north-west.
