Turny is a French municipality with 681 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Yonne department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Auxerre and the canton of Saint-Florentin (until 2015 Brienon-sur-Armançon ). The inhabitants are called Turrois .

Turny is about 30 kilometers north-northeast of Auxerre . Turny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bœurs-en-Othe in the north and north-west, Sormery in the north and north-east, Neuvy-Sautour in the east and south-east, Saint-Florentin in the south, Venizy in the west and Chailley in the north-west.
