Levis is a French municipality with 225 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté (2015: Burgundy ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Auxerre and the canton Vincelles (until 2015: canton Toucy ).

Levis is in the Puisaye countryside , about 24 kilometers west-southwest of Auxerre . Levis is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lalande in the north and north-west, Leugny in the north-east, Ouanne in the east, Sementron in the south-east, Lain in the south and Fontenoy in the south and west.
