Levis is in the Puisaye countryside , about 24 kilometers west-southwest of Auxerre . Levis is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lalande in the north and north-west, Leugny in the north-east, Ouanne in the east, Sementron in the south-east, Lain in the south and Fontenoy in the south and west.
