Val-de-Mercy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Coulanges-la-Vineuse in the north, Vincelles in the east and northeast, Bazarnes in the east and southeast, Fontenay-sous-Fouronnes in the south, Charentenay in the south and southwest and Migé in the west.
