Val-de-Mercy is a municipality in the French department Yonne (Region Bourgogne Franche-Comté ). The municipality has 391 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017), belongs to the Arrondissement Auxerre and the canton of Vincelles (until 2015: canton of Coulanges-la-Vineuse ).

Val-de-Mercy is located about 16 kilometers south-southwest of Auxerre . Val-de-Mercy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Coulanges-la-Vineuse in the north, Vincelles in the east and northeast, Bazarnes in the east and southeast, Fontenay-sous-Fouronnes in the south, Charentenay in the south and southwest and Migé in the west.
