from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The megalithic graves near Lintig were two megalithic graves from the Neolithic funnel beaker culture near Lintig , a town in the Geestland community in the Cuxhaven district ( Lower Saxony ). They were destroyed in the 19th or early 20th century. Grave 1 had a (rectangular or trapezoidal) barn bed with a grave chamber , grave 2 had a grave chamber with a round mound. No further details are available about the alignment and dimensions of the systems. The grave chambers were also not described in more detail, so that the type of grave can no longer be determined.
