The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Auxerre and the canton of Cœur de Puisaye (until 2015: canton of Toucy ). The inhabitants are called Digeois .

geography

Diges lies on the edge of the Puisaye countryside , about 14 kilometers southwest of Auxerre . Diges is surrounded by the neighboring communities Parly in the north and northwest, Pourrain in the north, Escamps in the east, Ouanne in the south and southeast, Leugny in the south, Moulins-sur-Ouanne in the southwest and Toucy in the west.
