Esnon is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Bussy-en-Othe in the north and west, Bellechaume in the north and northeast, Paroy-en-Othe in the northeast, Brienon-sur-Armançon in the east, Ormoy in the south and Migennes in the west and southwest.
