Lindry is on the edge of the Puisaye countryside , about ten kilometers west of Auxerre . Lindry is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Poilly-sur-Tholon in the north, Charbuy in the north and northeast, Villefargeau in the east, Chevannes in the southeast, Pourrain in the south and Beauvoir and Égleny in the west.
