Legs is a French commune in the Yonne department ( Region Bourgogne Franche-Comté ) near Auxerre and Pontigny . The community has 482 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017), has an area of ​​21.57 km² and is 180 meters above sea level. Legs is not far from Chablis .

Legs is a village dominated by agriculture ( viticulture and fruit growing ). Many workers are therefore commuters who work in the larger towns in the area.

The Chablis is the northernmost wine-growing region in Burgundy . Only Chardonnay is grown on the limestone slopes. The vineyards are divided between legs and 19 neighboring communities.
