Leugny is a French municipality with 341 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté (2015: Burgundy ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Auxerre and the canton of Cœur de Puisaye (until 2015: canton of Toucy ).

Leugny is in the Puisaye countryside , about 19 kilometers southwest of Auxerre . Leugny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Moulins-sur-Ouanne in the north and northwest, Diges in the north and northeast, Ouanne in the south and east, Levis in the south and southwest and Lalande in the west.
