Champcevrais is a French municipality with 310 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Yonne department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Auxerre and the canton of Cœur de Puisaye (until 2015: canton of Bléneau ).

Champcevrais is about 46 kilometers west-southwest of Auxerre . The Aveyron rises here , as a tributary of the Loing . Champcevrais is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Aillant-sur-Milleron in the north and north-west, Le Charme in the north, Champignelles in the east, Saint-Privé in the south-east, Bléneau in the south and Rogny-les-Sept-Écluses in the west.
