Notre-Dame church

Prégilbert is a French municipality with 181 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Yonne department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Auxerre and the canton of Joux-la-Ville .

The place is a little off the route nationale 6 between Auxerre and Avallon . The Canal du Nivernais runs through the municipality .

Notre-Dame de Crisenon

In Prégilbert is the Notre-Dame de Crisenon monastery , which was built in the 11th century by Adele of France († June 5 after 1063) Countess of Auxerre , daughter of King Robert II the Pious and wife of Count Rainald I of Nevers , Founded.

Luchy Church

The Romanesque church (12th – 13th centuries) is located a little outside the village on the road to Mailly-la-Ville . The church is the only remnant of the village of Luchy , which was destroyed by fire in the 14th century. It was included in the list of Monuments historiques in 1914 .
