The canton Chablis is a French constituency in the arrondissement Auxerre and Avallon in the Yonne department and in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté ; its main town is Chablis , representatives in the General Council of the department have been Sylvie Charpignon ( DVD ) and Patrick Gendraud ( UDI ) since 2015 .

To nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015 Canton Chablis included the eleven municipalities Aigremont (Yonne) , legs , Chablis , Chemilly-sur-Serein , Chichée , Chitry , Courgis , Fontenay-près-Chablis , Lichères-près-Aigremont , Préhy and Saint-Cyr-les-Colons . Its layout corresponded to an area of 194.40 km ² . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 8909.
