Cisery is a village and a former French commune with 54 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Yonne department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belonged to the Arrondissement of Avallon and the Canton of Chablis (until 2015 Guillon ).

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Guillon , Cisery , Sceaux , Trévilly and Vignes were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Guillon-Terre-Plaine , where they have the status of a Commune déléguée . The administrative headquarters are in Guillon.

geography

Cisery is located about 58 kilometers southeast of Auxerre am Serein . The municipality of Cisery was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Trévilly in the north and west, Guillon in the north and east, Savigny-en-Terre-Plaine in the south, and Saint-André-en-Terre-Plaine in the south and south-west.
