Vignes is a village and a former French municipality with 81 inhabitants (as at 1st January 2017) in the Yonne department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Burgundy ). It belonged to the arrondissement of Avallon and the canton of Chablis (until 2015 canton of Guillon ).

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Guillon , Cisery , Sceaux , Trévilly and Vignes were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Guillon-Terre-Plaine , where they have the status of a Commune déléguée . The administrative headquarters are in Guillon.

geography

Vignes is about 62 kilometers southeast of Auxerre . The municipality of Vignes was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Santigny in the north, Pisy in the north and northeast, Corsaint in the east, Époisses in the southeast, Toutry in the south and Guillon in the west and southwest.
