Guillon-Terre-Plaine is a French commune of 760 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Avallon and the Canton of Chablis .

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 by merging the previous municipalities of Guillon , Cisery , Sceaux , Trévilly and Vignes , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Guillon .

The community is about 14 kilometers east-northeast of Avallon . The river Serein and the A6 motorway cross the municipality. Neighboring municipalities are: Montréal and Talcy in the north, Santigny and Pisy in the northeast, Corsaint in the east, Époisses and Toutry in the southeast, Savigny-en-Terre-Plaine and Saint-André-en-Terre-Plaine in the south, Cussy-les-Forges and Magny in the southwest, Sauvigny-le-Bois in the west, and Athie and Angely in the northwest.
