Sceaux is a town and a former French commune of 130 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belonged to the Arrondissement of Avallon and the Canton of Chablis (until 2015 Guillon ). The inhabitants are called Séens .
With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Guillon , Cisery , Sceaux , Trévilly and Vignes were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Guillon-Terre-Plaine , where they have the status of a Commune déléguée . The administrative headquarters are in Guillon.

Sceaux is about 52 kilometers southeast of Auxerre . The municipality of Sceaux was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Angely in the north, Montréal in the north-west, Trévilly in the east and north-east, Saint-André-en-Terre-Plaine in the south-east, Cussy-les-Forges in the south, Magny in the south-west, Sauvigny-le- Bois in the west and Athie in the northwest.
