Gland is a French commune with 42 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Yonne department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region (before 2016 Bourgogne ) in eastern France . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Avallon and the canton Tonnerrois (until 2015 Cruzy-le-Châtel ). The inhabitants are called Glandinois .

geography

Gland is about 50 kilometers east of Auxerre on the river Baon , which is still called Ruisseau de Boutellier here . Gland is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cruzy-le-Châtel in the north and northeast, Sennevoy-le-Haut in the east, Stigny in the south and southeast, Chassignelles and Ancy-le-Franc in the southwest, Ancy-le-Libre in the west and Pimelles in the Northwest.
