The Canton Migennes is a French constituency in the arrondissement Auxerre and Sens , in the Yonne department and in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté ; its main town is Migennes . François Boucher has been a representative in the General Council of the Department since 2001 (first DL , then UMP ).

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Migennes included the eight communities of Bassou , Bonnard , Brion , Charmoy , Chichery , Épineau-les-Voves , Laroche-Saint-Cydroine and Migennes . Its layout corresponded to an area of 70.98 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 8939.
