Saint-Aubin-Château-Neuf is a commune Déléguée in the municipality of Le Val d'Ocre with 513 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté .

Since January 1, 2016, the previously independent municipality of Saint-Aubin-Château-Neuf has been the larger town in the municipality of Le Val d'Ocre . The municipality of Saint-Aubin-Château-Neuf belonged to the canton of Charny (until 2015: canton of Aillant-sur-Tholon ) and the arrondissement of Auxerre .

Saint-Aubin-Château-Neuf is located about 20 kilometers west-northwest of Auxerre on the Tholon .
