Meillerghp (own spelling MEILLERGHP) was a European company for individualized customer communication with over 1300 employees at six locations.
history
The company was created on January 11, 2011 from the merger of meiller direct and the Direct Mail business area of Swiss Post Solutions . The owner is the Irish Paragon Group. The approx. 500 employees in Germany work at the two locations Schwandorf (headquarters) and Dettingen unter Teck .
The company offers solutions in the areas of consulting, production and services, especially in the area of direct mail production and customer loyalty management. This includes, in particular, the production of simple standardized to completely individualized mailings, the adoption of business processes and the automation of dialog processes for offline and online mailing campaigns. The product portfolio primarily includes know-how in the area of customization, the aim of which is to increase the advertising effect of such mailings or advertising products.
On June 13, 2013 Meillerghp announced a cooperation with Buena la Vista interactive. In this context, the company develops technical and virtual applications in order to connect these with print communication.
On February 7, 2014, the management of Meillerghp applied for protective shield proceedings - a form of insolvency proceedings intended to prevent impending insolvency. In this context, after the conclusion of an insolvency social plan, around 250 employees were laid off and the Bamberg location was completely given up on August 31, 2014. The search for investors began under the leadership of Ernst & Young .
In the same year Bernhard Butz (CFO) and Stephan Krauss (CEO) left the company at their own request; the latter was replaced by Michael Steinwidder.
In 2015 the insolvency proceedings were lifted and the company was taken over by the Paragon Group. Meillerghp GmbH has been operating as Paragon Customer Communications Schwandorf GmbH since May 1, 2018 .
