With master of Stratonike an unnamed well-known painter is known that in the late Middle Ages and early Renaissance worked from 1470 to 1510 in Italy. Maybe he had his workshop in Siena and got his emergency name (English Stratonice-Master ) after a work that depicts the ancient story of the prince's son Antiochus and Queen Stratonice . His style is said to be close to Filippino Lippi's Florentine style and, like his painting style, influenced by Sandro Botticelli . Also Lucca can be accepted as Schaffensort.
