Meister der Uhrmacherkunst is a monograph by goldsmith , watchmaker and gemologist Jürgen Abeler, first published in 1977. According to its subtitle, the work, which was published in the second edition in 2010, reproduces over 20,000 watchmakers from the German-speaking area with life or impact data and a list of their works known to the author .

The biographical reference work was self-published. The work is the result of collecting activities started in 1955 by the private Wuppertal watch museum of the watchmaker and goldsmith family Abeler in Wuppertal.
