Master of the Bigallo Crucifix : Crucifix, (Crocifisso), Museo del Bigallo, Florence

The master of the Bigallo crucifix (or Bigallo master ) is a medieval painter who was active in Tuscany, probably in Florence , between 1225 and 1260 . The artist, who is not known by name, got his emergency name after the crucifix he painted , which is now in the Museo del Bigallo in Florence. The style of the master suggests the influence of Berlinghiero Berlinghieri .
