Melanie Marie Magdalena Hermine Domenego , married Melanie Feldhaus-Domenego ( May 27, 1874 in Vienna - after 1907 ) was an Austrian opera singer ( soprano ).

Life

She attended the Conservatory in Vienna and was prepared accordingly for her stage career by Rosa Papier . In 1899 she appeared as a conservator at the Vienna Court Opera Theater. After working there for a year, she joined the Association of the Düsseldorf City Theater, to which she belonged until 1903. From 1903 to 1904 she worked at the Cologne Opera House, from 1904 to 1907 at the Vienna Volksoper.

After her marriage, she withdrew completely into private life.

"Julie", "Leonore" ("Troubadour"), "Sulamith", "Martha", "Ophelia", "Margarethe von Valois" etc. were highlighted as particularly effective.
