Melanie Kühnemann

Melanie Kühnemann (born August 16, 1972 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and an elected member of the Berlin House of Representatives .

biography

After graduating from high school, Melanie Kühnemann studied political science at the Free University of Berlin as well as German and history for teaching. She then worked in the Berlin school service and in 2014 moved to the Senate Administration for Labor, Integration and Women, most recently as personal advisor to Senator Dilek Kolat .

Party and politics

Kühnemann has been a member of the SPD since 1988 and had a mandate in the Tempelhof-Schöneberg District Assembly from 2001 to 2016. There she was also deputy chairman of her group. In the election for the Berlin House of Representatives in 2016 , she was elected to the House of Representatives via the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district list.
