Melanie Schurgast (born January 23, 1990 in Baden ) is an Austrian soccer player .

Career

Schurgast played in her youth for SC Pfaffstätten and FC Tribuswinkel, before playing for ASK Erlaa in the adult area from 2005 . In September 2008, Schurgast moved together with Nike Winter to the German Bundesliga promoted FF USV Jena . In Jena, Schurgast only played in the second team in the Regionalliga and therefore returned to Austria on July 13, 2009 and signed with Winter at SK Kelag Carinthia . After the merger of FC Kelag Kärnten with FC St. Veit, she joined the newly formed club FC St. Veit Kärnten Women . After the spin-off of the women's soccer department in summer 2013, she played for the successor club Carinthians - Soccer Women . In the summer of 2016 Schurgast left the Carinthians after 3 years and joined the AKNÖ regional league club FFCM Traiskirchen.
